Jamnagar: A paradise for bird watchers

Lesser flamingos
Jamnagar in Gujarat, India is a hub of migratory birds. Located on the coast of Gulf of Kutch, Jamnagar attracts a huge population of birds and along with them birding enthusiasts!

Winter is a good time to visit Jamnagar if you wish to sight migratory birds.  Jamnagar also has a marine national park, and various other tourist attractions.

Wild Ass Sanctuary, Little Rann of Kutch, Gujarat

Wild Ass, LRK, India
Sharing some pictures of mammals sighted at the Wild Ass Sanctuary, Little Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. In India, wild Ass can be sighted in Ladakh and Gujarat only.

Hyenas are usually spotted in Velavadar National Park in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, and rarely in Little Rann of Kutch. It was quite an unusual and lucky sighting. Photo credits to Soma Jha.
