Continuing with my earlier post on
Havelis (Mansions) of Churu, Rajasthan, India, this post has some more mesmerizing havelis from the Shekhawati historical region. Mandawa which is a part of Shekhawati region is located around 190 km from Jaipur.
A well-known place for Havelis (Mansions), Mandawa is a favourite location for film shoots. Some scenes from PK and Bajrangi Bhaijan were shot here.

Incredible mansions! Hope they are preserved well.
This is one region of Rajasthan that has some stunning history and amazing murals to photograph. I couldnt get over this place and would not stop clicking! It was s shame to see it not being taken care of and I wish someone would wake upto its beauty and treasure it!
@ Indrani...yes these are amazing...some of them are well-preserved...but there are quite a few that are not in a good state:(
