After the picturesque
Neak Pean we headed towards our next destination, Preah Khan temple.
Preah Khan temple was built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honor his father (more in
wikipedia)
This temple complex is huge. It was said to have a hundred thousand official and servants. The temple has a Buddhist sanctuary and Hindu temples as well around it.

Not really in a good condition, and yet it is so grand. The overgrown trees give it a character and the beautiful structures and carvings that are still holding up, add to the awesomeness of this temple.
A must visit.
